Engenium Announces Gregory Martin relinquishing role of President and CEO

Engenium Chemicals Corp announced today that Greg Martin, founder of Engenium and its predecessor companies, has made the decision to relinquish his position as President and CEO of Engenium. Greg has led the company from its beginnings as Brine-Add Fluids Ltd. in 1984 through a series of mergers including Brine-Add Fluids Ltd. and Synerchem International Inc. During that time the company evolved into one of the leading suppliers of quality specialty chemical products used in the energy sector. Under Greg’s leadership and direction, the company has grown to its current position manufacturing over 500 products. Engenium will continue to rely on Greg’s entrepreneurial business acumen as he remains in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

 

Engenium Announces Chris Martin as new President and CEO

Greg Martin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Engenium Chemicals Corp., announced today that Chris Martin has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Engenium Chemicals Corp.

Chris Martin has been with the company for 15 years and has held ever increasing roles with Engenium in manufacturing and finance. Most recently, Chris held the position of Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer and has been a key contributor to the company’s growth and success.

Chris Martin has a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta. He is also a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA. Chris will remain a director on Engenium’s Board.
